Our Use of Artificial Intelligence

Make Memories uses artificial intelligence and AI-assisted tools as part of our creative, marketing and operational processes.

AI technologies may be used to assist us in creating, editing, enhancing or optimizing content across our website, online store, social media channels, advertisements and other marketing materials.

This may include, for example:

● images, graphics and visual content;

● lifestyle and product imagery;

● advertising creatives;

● social media content;

● written copy, descriptions and marketing text;

● image editing, enhancement and background generation;

● creative concepts and design variations;

● translations and language optimization; and

● other digital or promotional content.
As a result, some images, videos, graphics, text or other materials displayed by Make Memories may be fully or partially generated, edited, enhanced or otherwise created with the assistance of artificial intelligence

Human Review and Creative Control

Artificial intelligence is used as a creative and supporting tool. Where appropriate, content created with the assistance of AI is reviewed, selected, edited or approved by members of the Make Memories team before publication.

We remain responsible for the content that we publish and do not rely solely on automated systems for our brand communication.

AI-generated suggestions, drafts or creative materials may therefore be modified, combined with human-created content or otherwise adapted before being published.

AI-Generated Images and Marketing Content

Some visual content used on our website, social media channels or in advertisements may depict AI-generated or AI-modified environments, people, objects, products or situations.

Such content may be used for illustrative, inspirational or advertising purposes and should not necessarily be understood as photographic documentation of an actual event, person, location or situation.

Where required under applicable law, including Article 50 of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act, AI-generated or manipulated content will be disclosed or labelled in a clear and appropriate manner.

In particular, where content qualifies as a deepfake or another category for which specific transparency requirements apply, Make Memories will provide the disclosures required by applicable law.

Product Representation

We may use AI-assisted technologies to create or enhance product presentations, mock-ups, lifestyle imagery and other visual representations of our products.

We aim to represent our products as accurately as reasonably possible. However, illustrative or AI-assisted images may not perfectly reproduce every physical characteristic of the final product.

Actual products may therefore differ slightly from digital representations with regard to characteristics such as colour, texture, dimensions, lighting, positioning or appearance. Product specifications provided on the relevant product page should be used as the primary reference when making a purchasing decision.

Customer Content

Photos, designs or other personal content uploaded by customers are not automatically considered Make Memories marketing content.

We do not use customer-uploaded photos or personal projects to create public advertising or marketing materials unless we have an appropriate legal basis or permission to do so.

Where AI-powered or automated features are made available directly to customers, we will provide additional information or disclosures where required by applicable law.

Transparency and Responsible Use

Make Memories aims to use artificial intelligence responsibly, transparently and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Where legally required, we take appropriate measures to ensure that individuals can recognize when relevant content has been artificially generated or manipulated.

Our use of AI technologies and our transparency practices may change as technology, applicable legislation and regulatory guidance evolve. We may therefore update this notice from time to time.
